Itinerary DAY 2: ATHENS Breakfast, pick up from the hotel, guided Athens sightseeing tour to the Acropolis, Parthenon, New Acropolis Museum etc. Free time during the afternoon. DAY 3: ATHENS-AEGINA/POROS/HYDRA Morning, transfer to Piraeus port and embarkation to the cruise ship for your full day cruise to Aegina-Poros-Hydra islands. DAY 4: ATHENS/OLYMPIA You will leave Athens early in the morning, directing to Peloponnese, along the coastal road. Short stop at the Corinth Canal. Next stop at the Ancient Epidaurus Theatre, an architecture with excellent acoustics. Quick visit to Nafplion town and then to the archeological site of Mycenae and the Tomb of Agamemnon. You will depart for Olympia town in the afternoon, the place where the Olympic Games were born, passing through Tripolis and Megalopolis towns. Dinner and night accommodation at Olympia town. DAY 5: OLYMPIA/DELPHI Sightseeing tour to the Olympian Zeus Sanctuary, the Ancient Stadium and the Archeological Museum. You will then leave Olympia town and after having driven through Helia and Achaia plains you will cross the Rio-Antirio Bridge that connects Peloponnese with west Greece and then pass through the picturesque Nafpaktos (Lepanto) and Itea towns. Arrival at Delphi town, dinner and overnight. DAY 6: DELPHI/METEORA Tour to the archeological sites tour including the Delphi Museum and depart for Kalambaka town located next to the gigantic rocks that compose Meteora complex. Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka. DAY 7: METEORA/ATHENS Visit to Meteora complex, where the monasteries containing priceless historical and religious treasures are located. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (short stop at Leonida's statue) and Kammena Vourla. Arrival in Athens in the afternoon. DAY 8: ATHENS/AIRPORT According to your flight departure time, you will be transferred to Athens airport. Rates 2011
